Love Stories
Love Stories Collection
Every collection has a beginning. Ours began with a small and unexpected discovery.
While exploring antique jewelry, we came across a curious object from the 19th century: a humble coin that had been carefully engraved by hand. The design of the coin had been polished away and replaced with initials, symbols, and delicate ornamentation. What was once currency had been transformed into something far more meaningful.
These pieces are known as Victorian love tokens.
In the 1800s, when open expressions of affection were often restrained by etiquette and circumstance, people found creative ways to communicate their feelings. Coins were smoothed and engraved by hand with initials, dates, or symbols of devotion and quietly exchanged between lovers, friends, and family. Each one was unique, intimate, and deeply personal—small pieces of silver carrying entire stories.
We were immediately captivated.
There is something profoundly moving about these objects. They are humble in origin, yet rich in sentiment. Each engraving represents a moment in someone’s life—a declaration, a memory, a promise. More than a century later, those stories still feel present.
The Love Stories Collection grew from a desire to honor that tradition.
Rather than simply reproducing antique love tokens, Heavenly Vices reimagines their spirit for the present. Historic coins, symbolic motifs, and hand-engraved initials are transformed into contemporary heirlooms—pieces that carry the same sense of personal meaning while being designed to live in the modern world.
Central to the collection are our customizable bezels, designed to frame antique coins and engraved elements in gold, allowing each piece to preserve its history while becoming wearable again. Alongside them are revived castings, signet rings, and symbolic medallions that echo the language of sentiment found throughout 19th-century jewelry.
Like the originals that inspired them, these pieces are meant to tell stories.
Some commemorate love.
Some celebrate identity.
Some mark a moment worth remembering.
And some simply carry a symbol that feels important to the person who wears it.
What makes love tokens so compelling is that they were never meant to be mass-produced objects. They were personal creations, shaped by hand and intention. That same spirit guides every piece in the Love Stories Collection.
Each jewel is an invitation to create your own meaning—to wear a symbol that represents something only you fully understand.
Because the most powerful jewelry has never just been decorative.
It has always been a message waiting to be read.
