Night Owl Antique Victorian Love Token Pendant

An owl keeps watch from a bare branch under a crescent moon and a sky full of stars, hand-engraved on a silver coin more than a century ago, inside a border cut like a ribbon of tiny waves. Look closely at his eyes: the engraver gave him stars for pupils.

To the Victorians, the owl was wisdom, and the one who stays awake through the dark. A token for the person who sees you clearly, or the one who keeps the night watch with you.
